Eligibility

You must be 13 years or older to use MyVoiceTale. The service is not directed to children under 13. If we learn that an account belongs to a child under 13, we delete that account.

What the service does

MyVoiceTale lets you register a voice from a short reference recording, then generates audio of that voice reading text you supply. Generation is best effort on a single GPU: jobs may queue, and they may fail. Processing happens on servers in the United States and on the operator's speech engine in mainland China — see the privacy policy for details.

Your account

Register with an email address you can actually read, keep your password safe, and use one account per person. You are responsible for what is done through your account.

Voice and content permissions

Clone only your own voice, or a voice whose speaker has given you explicit permission — permission you can show if we ask for it. Upload only text you have the right to use.

Do not use the service to impersonate anyone in a way that deceives, and do not use it for fraud, harassment, sexual content involving minors, or anything unlawful. You are responsible for how you use the audio you generate.

Unauthorised voices and complaints

If a voice is cloned without the speaker's permission, or text is used without the right to it, the person concerned can report it through our support page. The operator may suspend an account while a complaint is reviewed, remove content when a complaint is substantiated, and terminate the accounts of repeat offenders.

Plans and allowances

The numbers in this section are the ones the service uses today:

• Free — 1 voice(s) and 20,000 characters, once per account.
• Pro — 5 voice(s) and 300,000 characters per month.
• Characters are counted as the Unicode characters of the text after leading and trailing whitespace is trimmed. Unused characters do not roll over.
• A generation that fails or is cancelled is not charged, and deleting finished audio does not refund characters.
• The Free allowance is not reset by reinstalling the app, changing device, signing out, or deleting voices or audio.

Subscriptions

• Pro is sold through Apple's App Store as a monthly or a yearly auto-renewing subscription. Prices are shown in the App Store before you buy.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID. A subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple ID settings. Refunds are handled by Apple.
• The yearly plan includes the monthly Pro allowance every month: it renews monthly in UTC from the subscription start.
• When a subscription ends, the account returns to Free. Audio completed while on Pro stays playable and downloadable, and existing voices are kept and usable — but no new voice can be created beyond the Free limit.

Ownership

Your recordings, texts and generated audio are yours. The operator claims no ownership over them.

Deletion and termination

You can delete your account at any time — in the app, or on the web at the account-deletion page. Deleting the account does not cancel an App Store subscription; cancel it in your Apple ID settings. Files you exported or downloaded elsewhere are not affected. The operator may suspend or terminate an account for violations of these terms, including unauthorised voice use.

Availability and liability

Generation runs on a single GPU and is provided best effort: jobs can queue for a long time, and the service can be unavailable. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change, the updated text is published on this page with a new effective date.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the State of California, United States.
